Clinical care with care. No rushing, no hasty diagnoses, with genuine follow-up between appointments.
I am Cristina Koziy, a registered podiatrist in Valencia. From a young age, I felt a special fascination for the health sciences and how minor problems can have a huge impact on people’s quality of life.
I graduated in Podiatry from the Catholic University of Valencia (UCV) — one of the leading institutions for training healthcare professionals in the Valencian Community. During my training, I specialised in biomechanics, sports podiatry and minimally invasive procedures.
My approach is always holistic: I do not treat isolated symptoms, but the whole person. Every patient deserves a plan tailored to their needs, lifestyle and goals.
I keep constantly up to date with the latest advances, which allows me to offer techniques such as ultrasound-guided procedures, PRP, injections and the treatment of telangiectasias on the foot and ankle.
Before treating, I assess: gait, weight-bearing, posture, footwear and medical history. Most foot problems aren’t actually caused by the foot itself — they stem from how weight is distributed, how you walk, a tight tendon or ill-fitting shoes. Without understanding the cause, treatment is repeated and the patient returns.
Every visit includes a clear explanation of what you have, why it’s happening and what real options are available. If you need to be referred to another professional — an orthopaedic surgeon, physiotherapist or dermatologist — I’ll tell you; I won’t hide it from you.
I work slowly because your feet have to last a lifetime and deserve that time. Nor do I solve everything in a single session: follow-up between visits is part of the treatment, not an extra.
My mission is for you to leave the clinic feeling better than when you arrived.— Dr Cristina Koziy
I see my patients in Spanish, Ukrainian and English, which allows me to support international families and the Ukrainian community in Valencia with the same level of clinical care.
You don’t have to wait for a problem to grow. These are situations where a podiatry visit usually prevents bigger trouble:
If you’re unsure whether your case fits, message me — I’d rather you ask than wait.
We start by listening to your reason for visiting. I examine the foot and your gait, and explain what I find and what real options exist. No rush — we take the time your case needs.
Yes — I have specific training in paediatric and geriatric podiatry. For children I tend to recommend shorter, more frequent visits with adapted explanations. For elderly with limited mobility, I offer home visits in Valencia.
Spanish and Ukrainian (native), English (intermediate). This lets me support international families and the Ukrainian community of Valencia with the same warm care.
It depends on the case. An ingrown nail eases in the first visit; chronic heel pain may need 4-8 weeks of multimodal plan; onychomycosis takes 6-12 months for full result. I explain it clearly before we start.
Minimally invasive nail surgery I do in clinic, under local anaesthesia, on an outpatient basis. If your case needs an operating room, I rent a medical centre near your home so you don’t have to travel.
Please check with your insurer first whether they cover podiatry and under what terms. If your insurance accepts visits at Centro Médico Almenara and your case fits, we may take you on insurance. The home visit service in Valencia is private.
I’ll tell you how I can help — no strings attached.
